Birgitta Wolf von Rosen has dedicated her life to securing better conditions for prisoners not only in Sweden and Germany, but in many other countries in the world. For this work she received the nick-name "The Angel of prisoners".

Birgitta Wolf von Rosen has been engaged in the rights of children in public care since the mid 1980's. In 1986 she wrote the book :
"The Alexander Case - A confiscated child". Even in the cases of the children in public care Birgitta Wolf truly is "The Angel of the prisoners".
